We are seeking an experienced Store Manager for our Airport West, Victoria location.
This role suits a professionally seasoned retail leader who brings calm authority, clear direction and strong people management skills. The store services a local, community-based customer demographic and requires a leader who can set expectations, maintain standards and keep the team focused and accountable.
This is a hands-on role for someone who leads from the floor, values structure and consistency, and is confident managing performance.
Your Impact Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will:
- Provide firm, fair and consistent leadership to the store team
- Maintain operational discipline, standards and compliance

Key Responsibilities
People Leadership & Accountability
- Set clear expectations and give direct, constructive guidance
- Manage performance confidently, including corrective conversations
- Maintain discipline around rosters, attendance and behaviours
- Build a culture of respect, consistency and accountability
Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily store operations, stock control, cash handling and compliance
- Ensure strong adherence to WHS, loss prevention and retail award requirements
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and safety
- Execute promotions and merchandising to company guidelines
Customer Experience
- Ensure a reliable, professional and welcoming customer experience
- Lead the team to deliver consistent service standards
- Resolve customer concerns calmly and effectively
About You
- Proven Store Manager experience in structured, high-compliance retail environments
- Background in department stores or large-format retailers such as supermarkets or mass merchants
- Confident giving direction and holding people accountable
- Calm, professional and highly organised leadership style
- Comfortable managing routines, processes and team discipline
