A leading global beauty retailer is seeking an accomplished Head of Retail ANZ to drive growth, elevate customer experience, and lead an empowered, high-performing retail team across Australia and New Zealand.

Reporting to the General Manager ANZ, this Director-level position will take full ownership of the region’s retail store network, delivering commercial targets, building customer loyalty, and inspiring a strong culture of performance and innovation. This role plays a pivotal part in the strategic direction, expansion, and operational excellence of the ANZ business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of the retail store network, with full accountability for sales, profitability, and client satisfaction
• Drive the implementation of client-first strategies to increase conversion and loyalty across the store footprint
• Coach and develop District Managers and in-store teams to achieve operational and performance excellence
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, operations, finance, and HR to drive business results
• Champion succession planning, talent development, and training to build an engaged and high-performing workforce
• Ensure consistency in store operations, visual merchandising, and brand presentation aligned with regional guidelines
• Oversee retail budgets and store P&Ls, focusing on payroll efficiency and investment in client experience
• Play a key leadership role in network growth and new store openings across the region

Candidate Profile:

• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in multi-site retail, ideally within a customer-centric, high-volume environment in multi-branded beauty / fashion retail preferred.
• A commercially driven mindset with a strong understanding of financial metrics and business planning
• Proven ability to lead large and diverse teams through change, growth, and high performance
• Deep understanding of the retail client journey, with a passion for delivering best-in-class service and experience
• A strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving business and brings agility, resilience, and innovation
• Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills with the ability to lead across functions and markets
