Our Client is a leading global luxury brand and we are seeking a Finance & Administration Manager to join their dynamic head office team in Sydney. This role manages a small team and offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage financial operations, supporting the continued growth of the business across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
- Manage relationships with outsourced accounting teams in the APAC region.
- Handle tax-related activities, including GST, withholding tax, and corporate tax filings.
- Oversee statutory audit processes and collaborate with auditors to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company secretarial functions and legal requirements.
- Lead Work Health and Safety (WHS) initiatives, ensuring compliance across the business.
- Work closely with internal teams in Australia and the SEA Regional Office as well as external partners, to support business operations.
Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar finance or administration management role.
- Strong proficiency in financial systems, with advanced MS Excel skills.
- Proven ability to manage teams and collaborate with senior leadership.
- A proactive approach to managing financial and administrative responsibilities.
- Experience in finance in luxury retail or hospitality is an advantage.
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance.
