The Role
An exceptional opportunity has become available for a proven Senior Store Manager to lead this mega business based in Melbourne Central. As General Manager of your business, you will drive, develop and inspire your team to achieve overall success. The ideal candidate will have excellent commercial understanding, strong reporting & analysis skills and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships as you will be communicating with distributors directly and managing all operational aspects of the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive, inspire and engage a large team
- Set goals and succession plans for key team members
- Drive your business from the front and make commercial decisions to maximise profitability
- Be across your stock and communicate with suppliers directly based on your business’ individual needs
- Produce and analyse required financial reports

Attributes:
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a Senior Store Manager in Fashion / Accessories / Footwear OR a minimum of 2 years experience in Management in a Big Box environment
- Commercially focused with sound business acumen
- Excellent people management & leadership skills with a strong focus on building an engaging and inspiring culture
- Strong business sense and commercial flair
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast paced environment, able to multi task, and prioritise where needed
- Adaptable and supportive
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- A Brand Ambassador who is passionate about a career in Retail
